WHO WE ARE

Downtown Detroit’s oldest men’s clothing store, with a century of history as THE haberdashery. Survivors of the Great Depression, the Great Recession and the COVID-19 Global Pandemic. Standing tall at 100 years old rooted in perseverance, resilience and tenacity with a charge to serve the community and provide opportunity.

HISTORY OF
BLACK WALL STREET – TULSA, OK

It has been a century since the destruction of Black Wall Street in Tulsa Oklahoma. A race riot incited by a white mob that ruined a once thriving and self sustaining community of black businesses and residential living. Where the dollar circulated sometimes 5 or 6 times before leaving the community. The epitome of black success, black excellence and black wealth. The Black Wall Street massacre was one of the largest attacks on black citizens in America. Today, we remember and rebuild.
